Who is this David Kerr? He has managed to isolate a strand of DNA from Catch-22, and weave it through a comedic yet thoughtful look at ourselves through the eyes of aliens. The Orwellian simplicity of his prose nevertheless leaves the reader questioning the very foundations of our civilization as the friendly aliens look at our society with bizarre wonderment. Government, industry, religion, the military, the media - nothing escapes this satirical view of what we hold so dear. Well written and easy to read, the story gives the reader much to contemplate. I highly recommend this special book, and I will be looking for this author in the future.

The Truth is out there! But do we care? Gurt from Zimpac explains it this way. "My mission is to make a deal for water. Earth has more water than the rest of the universe combined. With one-tenth of it we can meet all our water needs for the next thirty thousand millennia. In return we can offer them an end to death and disease, and bring them peace, prosperity, and fulfillment.""Sounds easy" his pilot says."Obviously you have never indulged yourself in the study of earthlings," Gurt responds. So Gurt begins his odyssey to acquaint humanity with the fact that they are not alone in the universe, and the rest of the universe is thirsty. But after surrounding himself with humans, Gurt can only think of Earth and its inhabitants as "An Alien World."
