(More customer reviews)Have only used it once so far with a fairly large deer for my geographic region (approx. 200 lbs). Overall system worked OK for loading the deer in my truck but not sure how sturdy it would be to actually to clean a deer with the extra pulling/force needed to skin the animal. A possible solution is to provide extra strapping that could be used to support the top portion with the tie downs in a truck. If not supported in some way, I believe there is a possibility of bending the receiver section if much force was exerted during the skinning operation.
Would have also liked the height to be a little more but understand the limitations with overall length and keeping it to where it will store in the back of a standard pickup. I have a Toyota Tundra but also tried it on smaller truck and it was lower than what I wanted to work with.
All said, good concept and price. It beats gutting a deer lying on the ground.
