(More customer reviews)We got this to help our reluctant son prepare to ditch the training wheels. We made a deal that he would try riding with the balance buddy for one week, and if he didn't feel more confident, we would reinstall his training wheels. Much to our surprise, after two, 15-minute sessions on consecutive days, he was riding completely independently. We loved seeing our son's confidence level soar to the point that, after 3 sessions, he demanded we remove the balance buddy. Therefore, despite the fact that the balance buddy is a well made, sturdy backsaver, we got very little use out of it.
Instead of abandoning it in the storage shed, we decided to attach it to our 3 1/2 year old daughter's bike, assuming that it would remain there for quite some time. We expected it to take much longer, but after about 8 sessions, she is riding on her own with only an occasional need for assistance. I feel that the Balance Buddy is infinately better than training wheels in helping children learn to balance, as it allows them to sense when they are leaning and self-correct. I highly recommend this for any child who is ready to kick the training wheel habit!!

Valley 90180 Hitch Mounted Basket with Folding Shank Review

(More customer reviews)I used this for the first time last month and it worked great.
I was thinking of buying this model: Valley 90590 Deluxe Hitch Mounted Basket Cargo Carrier, but locally I was able to buy the 90180 for about $35 less and it would fold up without needing to buy extra parts, like the 90590.
I was worried that it would rattle or klunk, but after putting 500 miles on, it hardly ever did. The only times I noticed it was when I would hit a bump diagonally (like turning into a store parking lot with a big transition). No hearing it was a bit of a problem since I couldn't hear it either; it would be so easy to forget about and back into something in a parking lot. I was desperate to figure out some way to train my mind that it was there. I just bought some tall, thin, yellow stakes from the local hardware store to mark the back corners so I can see from the driver's seat...we'll see if that works.
Also, this model has no markings or reflectors that might help other drivers see you. I bought this: American Products Company 360435 Universal 49" LED Tailgate Bar with Brake Light and Turn Indicators and will be installing that soon. That will plug into my hitch power harness and should look pretty nice.
I found that this blocks my license plate, so I'm working on a workaround for that, too.
For my vehicle, a Jeep Liberty, the spare tire that is attached to the back gate makes it so I can't fold this up unless I either buy a hitch extender: Hidden Hitch Receiver Hitch Adapter (CU-D-191)Receiver Extension - Extends 2" Receiver 8" (3,500lb GTW) or drill new holes so that it is not quite vertical when propped up. I'm not sure this matters enough to me.
I used this bag: Rola 59102 Expandable Hitch Tray Cargo Bag - 9.5-11.5 Cubic Feet and I fit two small suitcases and three small boxes. I could have still fit more stuff or bigger suitcases.
I also bought this lock: Master Lock 1480DAT Stainless Steel Receiver Lock for 5/8- and 1/2-Inch Receiver Holes to try to prevent theft.
At my destination, I was able to pull it out and carry it by myself into a garage until we packed up.
Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Trimax Deluxe Wheel Chock Lock Review

(More customer reviews)I have been using this locking wheel chock for several weeks. The wheel chock works well for my Yamaha AR240, even on a very sloped driveway.
It is easy to install, lock, and unlock. I even felt comfortable leaving the boat unhitched in a hotel parking lot during a recent vacation.
The unit secures very tightly around the wheel and adjusts easily. A person would have to remove the entire wheel and replace it with a new one to steal the trailer (or use a cutting torch) =).

Prenatal Cradle Hip Brace/V2 Supporter Combo Review

(More customer reviews)I developed varicose veins in my second pregnancy and was able to control them quite well in my legs with compression stockings. When I started to get these veins further "north" I didn't know what to do. Going to the bathroom, taking a shower, even standing could be almost unbearable. That is why I was willing to shell out the big bucks for this product. I could not wait for it to arrive in the mail and relieve my discomfort.
Unfortunately, when it did arrive I was very disappointed. It was easy enough to put on but all I felt was more discomfort. It did not relieve the pressure at all and the velcro was so stiff that I felt like I couldn't walk comfortably. There are two velcro straps that also cut right across the butt cheeks which not only pressed on one of my veins but the sharp velcro dug in and was painful. Since the whole thing is basically just a bunch of velcro is also makes noise when you move. I have also had problems with my hips and SI joint but this thing was too uncomfortable to wear to find out if the hip brace works or not.
I thought I would do anything to get rid of the discomfort of my varicose veins but it turns out the one thing I will not do is wear this terrible contraption. I returned it. I don't know if there are other products that work better but this thing is likely not going to be comfortable for any pregnant woman... and frankly I just don't think it really works.

(More customer reviews)This new oven is so slick and has so many uses. I have only run it on the disposable propane bottles, but it can be run off a bulk tank.
I was really impressed with how good it would hold the heat and how it is almost silent. We were running it for a few minutes and I thought it wasn't hot yet and I looked at the temp gauge and it said 370 degrees. the burners on top are much better than the standard double burners, they are 5300 BTU and Brass to resist rusting.
I think the insulation must be really good since it holds the heat great.
The disposable bottle will last about 6 hours on high for the oven, since you are not always using High, it can last much longer.

(More customer reviews)Pros - Assembly was easy and fast. Rack is rock solid. Doesn't wobble or sway in transit. Rack swings out far enough for truck tailgate to come down. Unloading camping gear with bikes in rack was a breeze. Security cable is a plus!
Cons - The rubber straps aren't permanently attached and don't lock in to their starting position easily. They Lost one right away. Order an extra set. Also- order the quick attach locking bolt. The bolt for the neck of the trailer hitch means you need a rachet set or wrench every time you want to take the rack off. The lock for the security cable is not included.
This was our first rack. We are "occassional" users. (Car camping, local bike trail, etc.) Good rack for us. If you are hauling women's or girl's bikes order the mounting adaptor. Adaptors much less expensive online. We didn't order them with the rack. Rookie mistake. Wish the instructions had some pointers on best way to mount four bikes.
Overall - Great value!

Just came back from a weekend camping trip. Had a chance to compare notes on racks with a couple of people (and check out their bike racks). When I compare what we got for what we paid to what they got to what they paid... we definitely got the better value!!
