(More customer reviews)I have not used the carrier because I am trying to find a metric locknut for one of the latch hooks. The box was previously opened and the parts were not bagged and I am surprised more parts were not missing. The instructions are poor and if parts are missing you are to contact the seller. The seller did not respond to my e-mail, so I am trying to find the missing part or a similar replacement. I also question whether it can support 400 lbs. The manual says you cannot drive over 55 mph with the carrier loaded. I hope I am not as disappointed with the product than I already am.

(More customer reviews)This is a good hitch hauler at a great price. Assembly was mostly easy, however there were a couple of holes that didn't quite line up properly, nothing a little grinding with the dremmel wasn't able to fix. While it is a little annoying to have to fix small manufacturing errors like that, for the price of this unit, vs the prices of every other one I'd been able to find I'm still very happy with it.
As far as function goes, my parents have used it several times and are very pleased with it. My mothers powerchair loads easily and the rack has plenty of tie down points available. It even includes pre-drilled holes for mounting your license plate to since the chair will likely obscure it.
