(More customer reviews)This book is the best I have ever read about spousal abuse. It is so true to life. It deals with a young woman that falls in love with a man who begins to abuse her right after the marriage. He gets her own family, except for a sister, and her church turned against her. It is unreal how this relates to what really goes on somewhere every day. She gets rid of him, he says how sorry he is, she goes back and it starts all over again. Many good legal points are brought out for anyone in this situation or anyone who knows of anybody who needs help. I think we all know people who are just like this young lady, if by reading this book you or someone you know can be helped it will be worth it.
