It can easily carry a couple of large rubbermaid storage tubs for carrying groceries or other purchases, so this combo is now my eco-friendly alternative to driving around town for short trips. Not having front or rear walls I initially thought was a drawback, but now find it very useful for carrying longer items (like my inflatable kayak)!
The trailer is very lightweight, yet strong. The Burley trailer hitch system is very well designed and easy to use. While the trailer can be disassembled, I find that some of the lock pins are a bit tight and really not worth the bother. Fortunately, the wheels are very fast/easy to remove, so that makes the trailer "flat enough" for my storage needs.
The floor of the trailer is the same "plastic-coated canvas-like" material as the side walls. While this keeps the weight down, you'll want to add a firmer floor if hauling anything with unusual edges that might dimple the stock floor.
Overall, very pleased with this trailer!
