Winter's Secret (Northern Intrigue #1) (HeartQuest) Review

Unraveling the mystery of the snowmobile bandit kept me up half of the night. The situations were very realistic and the author did a great job of adding suspense in the mytery and in the romance between Sheriff Rodd and Nurse Wendy. I just had to keep reading until the end.

The Winds of Sonoma Review

The Winds of Sonoma
Average Reviews:

I'll be honest; I've never read a romance novel in my entire life. But I heard some good things about a new novel,The Winds of Sonoma, by author Nikki Arana, and thought I'd check it out. And I have to say, I wasn't disappointed in the least. The detailed characterizations and the smooth writing style were quite impressive for a first novel. Angelica Amante, a privileged young lawyer on the rise, finds her match in Antonio Perez, a dirt-poor Mexican immigrant working at her parent's ranch. It's a class-act story about class differences, and how true love can overcome any barrier - even prejudice. A spark of romance runs through a satisfying and very substantial story. Nikki Arana makes the unconventional possible, and the impossible, attainable. I truly look forward to reading the next novel by this talented new author.

Dead Reckoning by Rachelle McCalla ISBN-978-0-373-44450-2
This is the third book in the series. The first is Out On A Limb and the second is Danger on Her Doorstep. Excellent suspense books that keep you guessing.
Ginny McCutcheon left home right after high school and joined the Dare Divas, an all female stunt pilot troupe. She changed her name to Ginger McAlister. She had always admired Ben McAlister. He was older than she was and had joined the Air Force and she considered him the greatest pilot ever. He was now standing in front of her in a field after almost causing a crash. There had been so many accidents with the troupe lately he had scared her coming into her air space. And he was saying he was there to take her home.
Ben McAlister did not think he would ever get to meet Ginger McAlister face to face. He had seen her show several times. Almost bought her poster, almost. He was surprised when his friend, Cutch, had shown him a recent picture of his little sister Ginny and he recognized her as being Ginger. Cutch had married Ben's cousin Elise and ended a long feud between the McAlister's and McCutcheon's. They had a small wedding because they wanted Ben's dad there before his cancer took him. In a few weeks they were having a large wedding and celebration and Cutch wanted Ginny home early. They had read of all the accidents around her the last few months and decided she needed to come home where they could watch over her.
Ginny was not going to go back to Holyoake, Iowa. She did not want to bring the trouble surrounding her back there and she needed to keep her distance from this handsome airman. She had always admired Ben and now seeing him up close was worse. After he rescues her several times since his arrival she realizes she needs to leave Wyoming though. Trouble don't stop there, a storm and emergency landing in the middle of Nebraska, a sprained ankle and one incident after another allows Ben to continue to rescue her.

The Journey (Kentucky Brothers) Review

The Journey (Kentucky Brothers)
Average Reviews:

The Journey is the start of a new series...Kentucky Brothers, it is a spin off from the Daughter's of Lancaster County Series.
Titius is a twin and his brother Timothy has already settled down with a wife and a young daughter. He also has chosen his career path. While Titus is floundering in a relationship that has just broken up with his girl choosing to go to California rather than join the Church. When an opportunity in the form of a friend of his brother comes along, Titus decides to go to Kentucky with Allen and start his own life. He will be leaving his big extended family and the only life he has even know. He is also leaving his identical twin.
Suzanne Yoder lives with her Mother, brothers, sister and her Grandfather on a farm in Kentucky. Her Grandfather owns a Woodworking shop and her brother Nelson is learning to take it over. Suzanne loves working with wood, and would rather fish than cook...she is a horrible cook...just what every man wants in a woman!
When Titus meets Suzanne she resembles his lost love Phoebe and he takes a dislike to her. As you follow along with the story you will have some very sad, moving moments, and some really laugh out loud times. The trust in the Lord is seen in both families is very inspirational. This is a wonderful story, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
This book was provided by the publisher, I was not required to give a good evaluation, the opinions are my own and no further compensation was received.
