(More customer reviews)Use this on a Toyota Matrix. Easy to put together and attach/remove to/from the hitch. Heavy duty. Lots of holddown holes for strapping. I don't max out the max load capacity because I only have a class I hitch, but I have no doubts the carrier would handle it.

(More customer reviews)Used on my trip to the beach and works very well. Material was good quality. Comes with nice straps and they were a very good length. Folds up nicely for storage.
One Note... Look at the box, as it lists weather restistant. Dirt,Wind and Sun only. There is nothing water resistant about this bag. So if planning to take a trip, stay out of the rain. I loaded mine up and then hit a two hour storm. Corners were soaked from the kick up from the wheels. Had to air dry everything once arriving to my destination.

Lund 601001 Hitch-Mounted Folding Cargo Carrier Review

(More customer reviews)Overall, the product appears to be well built and sturdy. It took about an hour to assemble by myself. With help, it could easily be done in less than an hour. My only complaint is that the photo is misleading in two respects. First, it does not come with side rails. Fortunately, I read an earlier review which noted that fact and was not surprised when it did not come with the side rails. Second, the photos make it appear as if the carrier sits close to the bumper of your vehicle. That is not the case. In fact, this carrier sits out about twenty inches from the bumper of your vehicle. My guess is that it has to do with the hinge that allows the carrier to fold up. In any event, if I had any idea that it stuck out that far, I would have opted for the non-folding variety. But, other than that, the product appears to be sturdy and suitable for its purpose.

Rola 59102 Expandable Hitch Tray Cargo Bag Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this for a recent trip of about 1000 miles round trip and it was just what we wanted. Well, I suppose it could be just a bit larger but such is life. The liner/casing is very sturdy - it displayed no wear from the trip. The zippers are beefy and they withstood a lot of yanking around. Also, when I tossed it on the Lund 20x60 hitch carrier (also bought on Amazon) I stuffed a big suitcase in it, tried unsuccessfully to shove it around to get it in place, then realized I was getting caught on the bolts that face inward on the Lund. I grimaced and figured it would have torn huge holes in the casing but it was barely punctured! The expandable top is great although I can't imagine ever not wanting it to be expanded. The integrated straps are smart although the buckles seemed a bit chinsy. They held just fine, but I might replace them with belts that have ratchets on them and strap it around the entire bag to the carrier. We'll see - after 1000 miles with 3 little ones we might hold off on that next trip for a bit...
