Nancy Drew was asked to be in a movie about a crime she had solved in the past. During the making of the movie a series of unfortunate events occurred. So this book explains how Nancy Drew put all the clues together to explain the events that happend.
Personally, I liked the fact that the book kept you thinking on who the criminal(s) might be. What I did not particularly like was the irritating way that the problems kept happening one after the other.
Nancy Drew is my favorite character in the book. She is very intelligent and uses her brains to figure out all the problems.
What made me like her was that in one part of the book it says, "At first everyone thought it was part of the movie, but I recognized Chief McGinnis's voice." I think it takes a good detective to recognize those kind of things.
If you like mystery and a constantly changing story, then this book is a good choice for you.
After reading the book, I would wonder why some people commit silly crimes.
This is a great book. It is one of those books that has all of the elements of a good mystery book. It is easy to read, keeps you guessing and can be enjoyed by all ages of people that like a good mystery.

I'm a detective, not an actor, so who would think I'd be involved in a crime both offscreen and on? A producer has come to River Heights to film a reenactment of the heist that gave our town it's name, and he thinks I'm perfect for the part of Esther, the sister of the thieving Rackham boys. So I figure, why not give it a try? But once the cameras start rolling, the trouble begins. Food poisoning. Broken generators. And worse! If I don't sniff out some suspects soon, this might be my final act.

The Clue in the Old Album (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, No 24) Review

The Clue in the Old Album (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, No 24)

The book ,The Clue in the Old Album, is a very intriguing book. When you read the book you never know what will happen next. The main characters are Nancy Drew and a young girl named Rose. Nancy is trying to find Rose's father,Romano, and a special doll that Rose's mother hinted before she died. One thing Mrs. Struthers, Rose's grandmother, never mentioned to Rose is that her father was a gypsy and a violinest. While you read the book many conflicts arise. One of the main conflicts is to find Romano and two gypsies,Nitaka and Zorus. Nitaka and Zorus cause a lot of problems throughout the book. They steal items and threaten Nancy. I enjoyed the book because of the suspense. I never can put the book down. One thing I didn't enjoy is Nancy is always in the right place at the right time. I love this book and I hope you do too.

Kidnapping, burgalars, injuries and puzzels. If you like mystery stories, you'll love Nancy Drew The Ringmaster's Secret. It's about three friends trying to help out a trappez girl named Lolita. Lolita was kidnapped and raised by a grumpy man named Kroon. When she found out she was kidnapped, Kroon would not let her escape. Everyone was afraid of him because of his violence. Finally Nancy and her freinds agreed to help her. She did not know at the time that she was not only putting her self in danger, but her friends too. One incident was when Nancy and George were tied up and put on a train headed toward Canada. Another one was when Nancy was stanggeled with a black rope. Kroon knew they were on to him. So he kept planning plots to get them off his track. No matter how bad it was. But Nancy drew out smarted him by contacting Lolita's real parents. Her father was dead, but her mother was still alive. Her name was Lola Flanders. Nancy also contacted the police and told them to meet her there the same time Lola Flanders would. When everyone arrived, Kroon made a run for it. Into the woods he went. Nancy ran after him on a horse named star. She would do trick riding bare back on him. That's when one of Kroon's friends threw a rock, hit her in the head and Knocked her unconscious. Anyways, as Nancy dashed through the forest, the police made a road block on the other side. To find out what happens, read the book The Ringmaster's Secret. Trust me, the ending is really well fitted.I really liked the book because mystery stories are my thing. Also, I love it when I am kept on the egde of my seat. You never know whats going to happen next. And when you get to a really suspensful part, you can't stop reading.I think the Author did a great job of writting the book. She must have really been into mystery stories too, or she wouldn't of written it. If I were to grow up and be a writer, these would be the exact kind of books I would write. Mystery stories. I don't like those other books. lLike the mushy love stuff. Or an every day life. I could'nt handle it.

My daughter loved this book. It is a quick read for a 4th grader, but my daughter liked the mystery and it was perfect for her to read over the weekend. I have already ordered 5 more to keep her reading for fun, especially on the weekends.
