(More customer reviews)I bought this book because I enjoyed Joe Camp's first book: The Soul of a Horse. His decriptions are vivid, heartwarming and at times downright hilarious. I felt as if I was right there with him and Kathleen on their journey. If every horse could be treated with the care Joe Camp gives his herd, they'd be lucky indeed. The only "problem" I had with Joe's books is I couldn't put them down! He just smoothly leads you from one Chapter to the next and leaves you wishing there were more pages to read.
