Mary Beisner has written a first-hand account of her experiences as an owner of a trailer park. Her cast of characters come to life as she tells their stories, and how they transformed her life. The chapter titles are inviting; she is masterful with details. Each chapter ends with a zinger, often highlighting her own very personal learning. Mary Beisner's encounters with her "trailer trolls" exhibit her own kind of "faithing;" that is, she practices her Christianity through acts of good will at Airport Mobile Home Park.

I was stunned when I arrived at work Monday morning to see fire trucks, police cars, firemen and officers milling around the grounds of our newly acquired Airport Mobile Home Park What had caused the fire in Bernie and Betsys trailer? Was it an accident or the result of an on-going feud? Was this an isolated incident or merely foreshadowing of what lay ahead for us? Mary Eisners account of suddenly being thrust into the role of owner and landlord of a mobile home park with all its obstacles, escapades and challenges is humorous and at times poignant. A fast, fun read!
