(More customer reviews)We installed this rack as the directions indicated and tightened all the nuts as snug as possible. The third day out on our trip someone motioned us over to the side of the road. The rack had shifted and one of our bike tires was bouncing on the road; totally destroyed the tire and rim. The 'J' hooks did not hold the bikes securely and they scratched to finish on the bikes because, at the loosest, we could barely get on the bikes. Ultimately we had to remove the bikes and rack because the bumper was being ripped off its supports. I would recommend looking for another type of RV rack. We were able to return it to Amazon but received no credit for the return.
