Aosom Bicycle Bike Cargo Trailer-yellow and Black Review

Aosom Bicycle Bike Cargo Trailer-yellow and Black
Average Reviews:

This trailer is a very good trailer for carrying groceries or other items that are too big to fit in a basket on the front of your bike. The reason I give this a 4 star rating is because when you are carrying a full load, it could shift poking out the sides and causing it to rub against the tires and putting a hole in the fabric. This is what happened to mine but it can be patched up. No big deal. Just keep a watch on this when hauling a load. Another thing, the trailer cover is not rainproof and if you are carrying anything that can't get wet, then you need to buy what I bought which is some water repellent spray which you can spray all over the top of it. I also put stuff in waterproof bags. These are the only 2 problems that I see with this trailer, other than that, its an excellent trailer and tracks very well. I have read other reviews here and like people say, you hardly notice the trailer behind you because it is very quiet when pulling. I've had alot of people stop me while riding and ask me about it. It also holds alot of weight which sold me onto this trailer in the first place. I would recommend this trailer to others.

Burley Tail Wagon Bike Trailer Review

Burley Tail Wagon Bike Trailer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My wife and I have a 35lb Corgi/Heeler mix that we wanted to bring with on our longer (20+ miles) bike rides. The longer rides are just too much for the poor dog to keep up with (especially with her stubby corgi legs) so something like the Walky Dog Bicycle Leash just wouldn't work (although I am considering getting one to exercise the dog on shorter bike rides).
So, we decided that the best solution would be some sort of a trailer that we can pull behind out bikes. We looked at the much less expensive Solvit trailers (Solvit 62341 HoundAbout Bicycle Pet Trailer, Large) but wanted something solidly built that would last us preferably through this dog and the next one. The Burley Tail Wagon fits the bill perfectly. The construction quality is top-notch, and it looks much better than the other cheaper trailers as well.
Assembling it was very easy, despite the instruction manual being EXTREMELY vague. Our dog is already kennel trained, so as soon as I had the trailer put together she got right in. Hitching it up to the bike wasn't an issue either and within about 30 minutes of taking the trailer out of the shipping box, the dog an I were off on a short 4 mile ride to test out the new setup. Needless to say, the dog LOVED it!
Pulling a trailer behind the bike doesn't affect handling at all, but it does make the bike feel heavier so accelerating is a bit more work. One also has to be mindful of turns and such (just like when pulling a trailer with a car), and make wider turns.
The Burley Tail Wagon offers MANY options in terms of riding configuration, going from completely enclosed, to completely open with everything in between as well. For our first ride, I had the top cover closed so that our dog was completely enclosed - just in case she had any thoughts about jumping out. As she gets more used to it, I think we will be able to ride with the cover open so she can stick her head out. However, even with the cover closed, there is plenty of mesh so that the inside of the trailer never really gets warmer than the ambient temperature.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with our purchase, and I think that spending the extra money on the more expensive but better built Burley trailer was well worth it.
Some extra info:
The bike I use to pull the trailer is a Trek 7.3FX and the trailer works fine with 700mm wheels.
I also think this trailer would work fine for carrying cargo (much like the Burley Flatbed Bike Trailer) since it has a flat, hard floor. So as a bonus to having a trailer to bring the dog with, we also have a trailer that we can take to the grocery store, etc.

Trail-Gator Child Bike Tow Bar Review

Trail-Gator Child Bike Tow Bar
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Puchased this last week and installed it relatively easly. Being a bit particular, I had a tough time getting the the kid's bike to trail straight behind the adults, and to stand straight upright. The first adjustment turned out to be a bit easier to accomplish then the second.
Seemed to work well, although I don't think I'd like to push the listed weight limit of 100lbs (didn't seem like it had a big margin). Very easiy and quick to hook-up the two bikes, but there are 2 things that you'll have to remember to do or you could have an injurred little rider (but the instructions do a fine job of warning you).
The kid's bike is supposed to have a front wheel ground-clearance of 3-5 inches, which means that if you're careful during the installation then you'll be able to adjust the adult seat height for different riders (for us it's the difference between my wife and me).
You'll pretty quickly learn the tricks, like turning the adult bike 90 degress to the kid's bike when you're parking them (which allows the adult kickstand to work). We had a 2 wheel trailer before, and this feels a bit different due to the kid moving around. If you've got a heavy kid and light adult it could take some getting used to. But, it is easier and lighter to pull this then the trailer, and the kid really does help with peddling (just make sure they don't try to peddle backward).
As an odd application, it occured to me that it would work well to transport an empty bike for somebody else to ride (i.e. how do you use your own bike to also pull an empty bike for somebody else to use at your destination). If you've got a frequent need for this, then it might work with even a full-sized bike. The installation effort wouldn't make it worthwhile for a short, single use, but it's an interesting idea.
Overall I think it's well made and a good purchase. It comes with a number of parts for fitting different bikes, and you can go to the manufacture's web page for a PDF instructions if you want to figure out in advance whether it'll work with your equipment. In terms of the equpment you get, it's a bit more expensive then the single-wheel tag-alongs, but the dollars out of pocket are considerably less, it's less equipment to store, your kid will get practice on their own bike, and it'll likely retain a good deal of its value for resale.

WeeRide Stage Coach Double Bike Trailer Review

WeeRide Stage Coach Double Bike Trailer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We were undecided while searching for a bike trailer. I specifically was looking at the safety features and ease of attaching to a bike. The trailer was easy to set up. No tools were needed. It was set up in less than 5 minutes. It's lightweight and easy to tow around on your bike. My son, who is 18 months old, absolutely loves it. I do have to agree with a couple of the reviews though in regards to having 2 kids in there. My son sits comfortably by himself in the middle. If there were 2 kids, it looks like they might be cramped. There are 3 sets of seatbelts, so it's nice to have your choice of where you want your child to sit. Since he's by himself, he gets to sit in the middle. There's plenty of leg room for the kids and there's a small space underneath their seat to put maybe a jacket or blanket or whatever else. The pockets on the inside of the trailer are nice, so the kids can put their drinks or something else in there. There's a specific feature on this trailer that I didn't see listed on the others. It's a spring adjustment were it hooks onto the bike. It keeps the trailer upright, in case the bike tips over and it does work. I've hit the edge of the curb a couple of times from going off and on the sidewalks and from not paying attention. I noticed the trailer stays on the ground. I was very impressed. It does come with a safety flag and it easily slides along one of the rear sides, in between the canvas and the metal frame and stays put. I love the choice of the mesh screen or the clear plastic cover for wind or bad weather. I'm so glad we picked this trailer. I highly recommend it, when it comes available again.Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven Trilogy, Book 1)The Hollow (Book Two of the Sign of Seven Trilogy)

600 - lb. Trailer Dolly Review

600 - lb. Trailer Dolly
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This dolly was $200 less shipped than similar models that I was looking at locally. The dolly was easy to assemble and easily moves my 5x8 cargo trailer loaded down with band gear. It makes the tight turns that I needed to park the trailer on the 2nd spot of my carport without hitting the house, and I can position the trailer even if a car is parked in the 1st position.
The dolly works best on level flat surfaces, but I think that should be expected. Rough ground is more easily overcome than an incline. For an incline, if the trailer is loaded, you will have a hard time because of the weight, not the dolly. It's very easy to get the trailer in motion and very easy to control.
I'd recommend this item to anyone who needs to move a trailer in a tight space on a fairly level grade without hesitation, and I'd buy it again.

Schwinn Mark III Double Bike Trailer and Jogging Stroller Review

Schwinn Mark III Double Bike Trailer and Jogging Stroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Well designed light aluminum unit. Both sides are rigid and fold up from flat. A cross bar is attached to the back soft panel which attaches at the top to complete the frame. The cover has to be snapped on and off each time to use it. Side windows are rigid. The jogging handle and wheels are then added without requiring any tools. It takes about two minutes to assemble.
The bike attach bar and front wheel attach bar fold under and easily swing out for either use. Once assembled, it rolls great, even on the beach(same results when tested with a 6 and 4 year old). Turning is a breeze since the kids are sitting on the rear axle and and have a low center of gravity. Storage will hold two backpacks, and is covered. Unit will keep kids and gear completely dry in rainy environments. The only issue we have is that the back of the seats is a panel running from the axle to the top cross brack and does not recline when the kid falls asleep. Finally it fits fine in the back of my Venture minivan (so long as I clean out all the books, coats, juice boxes, toys, and general accumulation of my wife's adventures with the kids. but that is getting off topic).
I would buy it again.

Product arrived quickly and was straightforward to assemble. My kit was missing the bolts for the fenders. I emailed the malone sales department and received the missing bolts 2 days later. I bought these lights for a small boat trailer and I am very pleased with the product. The lights are very good quality and very bright. Much brighter than the lights I have had with bulbs.
The package comes with everything you should need to replace the entire trailer light system on a small trailer.
It is necessary to ground the lights properly as the instructions indicate. Don't rely on the mounting screws providing the ground as in some standard trailer lights.
I received the lights in a reasonable time frame even with standard shipping and they were well packed to avoid damage. What's not to like?

A friend and I each carried a BOB trailer 3,751 miles from Dallas Tx to Fairbanks Alaska over the summer of 2003. As we rode unsupported and camped along the way, we carried all our gear in our trailers. We didn't have a single problem. I personally found the BOB extremely convenient especially since there was no need to manage gear weight placement (as with panniers). It tracks like its on rails and was stable at all speeds; we reached 51 mph descending into Flaming Gorge Utah without any fear or hesitation. Bouncing over curbs and down bumpy rutted jeep roads was also a cinch. I later tried it on single track with a Mt Bike and am convinced that it would suffice (no shock necessary) for bikepacking. The only downside is a little added weight as compared to panniers.

Avenir Cargo Bicycle Trailer Review

Avenir Cargo Bicycle Trailer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this trailer, although not from Amazon. I have used to tow perhaps up to 40 pounds of various things including paper, cardboard, and bottles to my local recycling station, and groceries. It is light, and tows very well. Our area is fairly flat so I cannot speak to many significant hills. On the flat, however, it may make me start one gear lower when loaded than I would otherwise, but I cruise at basically my usual speed whether or not loaded. My trips are roughly 6 miles round trip. I like the fact that the hitch design is a simple clamp which means that I can use it on more than one bike without buying additional hitch hardware. The cloth sides are protected from contact and wear from the wheels by the bars around them. The top fits well. I do not use the flag, but I have attached a tailight. I should add that I ride for pleasure and errand running, but at age 68, am far from an athlete. There are two items about which one should be aware: First, if you ride a cruiser with a coaster brake on the left chain stay, the arm from the trailer may be too short. It is more likely than not, based on my two coaster brake bikes that the arm must attach in front of the brake arm. The front of the trailer may hit the back of the tire. A back fender could provide the same interference. On my mountain bike with derailers, there is no problem. Second, after riding a mile or so, check to see that the hitch is tight. Often I find that it needs some retightening.

Burley D'Lite Bike Trailer Review

Burley D'Lite Bike Trailer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My husband and I just purchased new bikes (Scott - Sportsters) and we have a two year old daughter that we needed a trailer for. Every bike shop we visited stood behind the Burley brand. I have to admit I did not like the price tag, but after going home and doing my research I can totally see why the Bike shops all recommend the Burley D'Lite. It is very easy to assemble, very easy to tow and simple to collapse and store. It is made with quality material and has a sharp look to it. The seats inside are padded to absorb the shock of bumpy rides, the circulation was perfect (we saw my daughter's hair dance in the wind) and there is plenty of room in the back for a backpack, picnic lunch etc. Better yet my daughter loved it! She was so comfy that she fell asleep half way through our 12 mile ride. The D'lite can accommodate two children up to 100lbs, so we can still use it when baby #2 comes along.
What really sold us on the Burley over all the other brands was the resale value. We scoured eBay and Craiglist before buying a new one and found that the used Burleys were only slightly cheaper. I e-mailed one Craigslist seller only to find out she had several other interested buyers and I would have to be part of a bidding war. So we decided to purchase a new one, use it for a few years and get a good portion of our money back with resale.

Children will also love the comfy hammock-style seats, which include flow-thru mesh for added ventilation. Most importantly, the D'Lite is built to keep your precious cargo safe, with a five-point safety harness, a tough aluminum frame with a full roll cage, and a secondary safety system.

The quality of the Pro Source Kayak carrier is equal to others that cost much more. It makes transporting my kayak significantly easier. It does require straps to hold the unit to the kayak. Burley Jogger Kit for Bicycle Trailer Review

Burley Jogger Kit for Bicycle Trailer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was confused by the instructions and thought that I was missing pieces for this product because it did not slip right in the way the instructions implied it would and the list of items present included parts that were already assembled. I had to go to the Burley web sight for more clear instructions. Using this as a jogger I would say that the handle for the trailer is not as stable as I would like, it slips despite being as tightened as I can get it with my bare hands (I have the D'Lite Euro trailer). Also I centered the wheel as the instructions indicated and it still seems to pull to the left. I am also not a big fan of the design since I thought it would be better if I could use the trailer towing arm as one of the wheel braces, this is not the case. I am not an engineer so I can't say that this is even possible but it would be a whole lot more convenient. This is not a quick change over product, I thought I would be able to tow the trailer to a location add the wheel then stroll after using it once I would say this is not a realistic.
